Autumn Quarter:

The Peace and Social Concerns Committee presented the 2nd hour classes from August 18 to

October 6.  Class title: Sacred Reckonings: White settler-colonizer churches doing the work of reparations

August 18, Ben Parker Sutter will lead a second hour interactive learning session called

"Loss of Turtle Island.

August 25: The Doctrine of Discovery: its roots (in Europe) and its fruits (in the Kansas City region) Steve Friesen will provide historical background on the Doctrine of Discovery background.

September 1, Sarah Fleming will facilitate the class titled: Truth-telling, Part Two: Mennonites arrive in Kansas as Native people are expelled.

September 8, David Bluford will facilitate the class titled: Truth-telling, Part Two: Red-lining, urban development, and the segregation of KC metro area.

September 15, Pastor Ruth will lead a session on Spiritual Practice of/in Repair

September 22, Facilitators: Members of the Peace and Social Justice Committee (PSJC)

September 29, Facilitators: Members of the Peace and Social Justice Committee (PSJC)
